Principles of Prayer: It is important to enter your closet for Effective Prayer
Tuesday Jun 28, 2022
Tuesday Jun 28, 2022
In this message, Reverend Lindsay continues his teaching on the importance of prayer with "The Thought Process of Prayer." He discusses the importance of habitual prayer. Habits are easy to form, but difficult to break. If you make prayer time a habit, you won't be able to let it go! He also emphasizes the importance of having a private place to pray, your closet or any quiet place. Prayer is a private communion between you and God. Don't involve anyone else in your private prayer time.
In order to have a good and established relationship with the Lord, you must make prayer a part of your daily routine. It starts with one hour a day. The more you do, the easier it gets, and the more blessings will abound.

Prayer Must Continue in Troubled Times and in Times of Peace
Tuesday Jun 21, 2022
Tuesday Jun 21, 2022
In this message Rev. Lindsay continues teaching through the mindset of Daniel with the principles of prayer. Prayer is the source of power and protection. When we are continually in prayer we are surrounded by angels.
Prayer is needed for acquiring and sustaining our blessings. God is the source and the sustainer of our every need. If you are blessed it is all the more reason keep praying. Even when God promoted Daniel his mindset was to keep praying. Let us not be like Esau have the birthright but lose the blessing. When we prosper we must’t forget the our Abba Father the source, is our sustainer (Romans 8:15). Your greatness should be reflected in your prayerfulness or "prayerlibility”.
Let us not stop praying in any situation! May God bless us with a prayerful attitude no matter how great we become!

Principles of Prayer: Prayer is the source of our Power and Protection

Daniel 6:10 (KJV) reads, "Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open towards Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days."
In today's message, Rev. Kodwo Orleans-Lindsay continues the lesson on the principles of prayer. Even though Daniel was having a time of crisis, he still made sure to pray three times a day and communicate with God. God loves prayer, so we must pray regularly as this is the way we connect to the Source. Prayer is the source of power and protection in our lives, and no one is ever too busy or too successful to pray.

If You Are Too Busy to Pray, Then You Are Too Busy Indeed
Tuesday Jun 07, 2022
Tuesday Jun 07, 2022
“Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime."
Daniel 6:10 (KJV)
In this message, Reverend Lindsay teaches about two important principles of prayer. We learn from the life of Daniel in the Bible that while Daniel was a very prominent man in his time, he still made time to pray 3 times a day. As Christians, we can’t be too busy to pray. Daniel knew the importance of prayer and that’s why he risked his life to continue praying. Remember that nothing we have is by our own might. Daniel’s success was sustained through prayer. It is imperative that we develop our prayer lives as Christians and follow Daniel’s example.

Baptism with the Holy Spirit gives you power and sonship in God’s house.
Acts 1: 4 (KJV) reads, “ And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”
In this message Rev. Lindsay teaches about the importance of speaking in tongues and how to receive Holy Ghost Baptism. Speaking in tongues represent a divine voice of the born-again spirit. Tongues allow you to pray according to the will of God. And they give you a special language that is only for our Heavenly Father to understand.
As Christians, God has given us a free gift in the Holy Spirit but have we fully received it ? May we receive this awesome gift and let it flow throughout our daily lives.

The Communion of the Holy Spirit
Wednesday May 18, 2022
Wednesday May 18, 2022
2 Corinthians 13:14 (KJV) reads, "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen."
In this message, Reverend Lindsay teaches about the "Communion of the Holy Spirit." Communion is where our lives meet with the life of the Holy Spirit. Without the influence of the Holy Spirit, we cannot live fulfilled Christian lives. The Holy Spirit plays many roles, and without Him, we cannot go further. We must constantly and consistently seek the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit and pray that His presence is with us, always.

The Holy Spirit The Helper

John 14:25-27 (KJV) says, “ These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
In this message Rev. Kodwo Orleans-Lindsay starts a new series on “ “ The Reality of the Holy Spirit - The Anointing and the Spirit””. He preaches about the sometimes forgotten but beautiful gift of the Helper, the Holy Spirit. As Christians we need the Holy Spirit; we cannot live a fruitful life without it. We learn that Jesus, King David, and even God needed the Holy Spirit; without the Holy Spirit we as Christians can do no good and lose our power. As its says in John 14:16 Jesus gave us not only the gift of everlasting life with God but an ever-present “Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever”.
A spirit filled-person is different from a worldly person, so let us receive, see, and know the Holy Spirit deeply and intimately and live spirit filled life!

The Right Christian Mentality: Practicing Anaiedeia
Wednesday May 04, 2022
Wednesday May 04, 2022
Mark 8:38 (KJV) says, “ Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”
In today’s message, Rev. Kodwo Orleans-Lindsay preaches on being shameless about God, using the Greek term “anadideia”. We must be bold about God’s business. As it says in Romans 1:16, let us not be ashamed of the Gospel of Christ it is our source of power. When we are ashamed we are depriving ourselves of our blessing as Christians and depriving the world of real Christian power.People that are “man-pleasers” will never serves God fully and who God can use. God will not boldly bless you and will deny those that are ashamed of him
Let us not treat God like an umbrella, forgotten and only used in storms. May we be God’s light and be bold and stand for Him always.

The Right Christian Mentality : Practicing Biazo
Wednesday Apr 27, 2022
Wednesday Apr 27, 2022
Matthew 11:12 (KJV) says, "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force."
In this message, Reverend Kodwo Orleans-Lindsay preaches on "The Right Mentality of a Christian," using the concept of "biazo," the Greek word meaning "to force." Without a forceful attitude, we cannot be good and effective Christians. Like Esau, those who refuse to apply force will let their birthright just slip away. Every Christian faces trials. Every Christian will have difficulties. But what sets successful ones apart is their drive to fight and win. We cannot find success without "biazo," the ability to force our way through.
May God grant us the spirit of biazo, so that we may stand and fight.
