The Principles of the Seven Lean and Fat Cows & Needing No Supervision

Genesis 41:29-30 reads, “Behold, there come seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt: And there shall arise after them seven years of famine; and all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine shall consume the land”

Frugality: The Principles of Timely Valuation and Gathering of the Crumbs

Do you place value on all that God has given you? Valuation of the people, gifts, experiences and things God has given are indicators of how wise or frugal you are with resources.

 

John 6:12-13 reads, “When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost. Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.”

 

Jesus did not let anything go to waste. He showed the disciples that there is value in the crumbs, in what appears to be little. When the crumbs were gathered, they were able to be multiplied.

 

Gather the crumbs in your life so that nothing is wasted. Be faithful with what appears little in your life so you can be ruler over much.

Frugality: The Principle Of Valuation

This Sunday’s message is on frugality. Frugality is the wise use of the resources God has given you.

 

So, how do you practice Frugality? The first thing is to understand the principal of valuation. This is an understanding of placing value of the people and resources God has given you.

 

In Genesis 25:33 the Word says, “And Jacob said, swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.” Essau did not value is birthright and sold it for a bowl of porridge. He cried bitterly in the end when he finally realized that he had made a mistake.

 

You will be good stewards for God! You will appreciate what God gives you! Listen to today’s message to do deeper into how to value the things in your life.

How to Develop Permanent Church Members: Part 2

You are a child of God! There are no stepchildren in Christ.

 

Romans 8:29 tells us, “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”

Introduction: How to develop permanent church members

In this Sunday’s message you will hear about staying close to the Lord and being part of Gods church.

 

Psalm 68:6 says, “God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.”

 

You should stay in the house of the Lord. God wanted to make something better for you by bringing you to His family. Disconnection from church makes you and the church imperfect. You are part of the body of Christ!

Symptoms of Backsliding: Part 4

John 1: 12 tells us, “But as many as received him, to them gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name”

 

Today’s message is on how to get the blessing of maturity by taking a deep dive into the Parable of the Prodigal Son from Luke 15. You will learn about some ways that step you away from the Father. Some of these things include choosing to connect somewhere else, not examining your actions and how you treat the Lord, being self-righteousness.

 

You will never be immature in the things of the Lord! You will return to the Father’s house and stay!

Symptoms of Backsliding: Part 3

In this final installment on the teaching of backsliding, Reverend Kodwo-Orleans Lindsay wraps up and reviews the symptoms and signs of backsliding.

 

In Luke 15, the Parable of the Lost Sheep, you see that there is more love for the lost sheep when it is found and more love for the prodigal son when he returned. When you’ve loved the Lord before and backslide, the Lord knows you.
