How To Be Humble Like a Child: Part 2
Tuesday Aug 23, 2022
Tuesday Aug 23, 2022
“At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, and said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 18:1-4 (KJV)
In today's message, Reverend Lindsay continues his series on humility specifically being humble like a child. We are reminded that the root of every sin is pride: it was the seed the devil sowed in Adam and Eve. In the Kingdom of God, remaining a child makes you great. Like children, we should quickly forgive and forget. Unforgiveness in our hearts fosters pride. We should be truthful and transparent. The enemy wants us to hide in our sin and shame but when we’re humble enough to be naked, we’re set free by the truth. We are then able to receive help and deliverance. Humility is not something we pray about; it's an action we perform. Although humbling ourselves is tough, God grants grace for it. Being humble allows us to serve others and be servants in the kingdom of God.

"1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven."
Matthew 18:1-4 (KJV)
In this week's message, Reverend Lindsay begins a new series on humility. He details the characteristics of children, and emphasizes the importance of becoming like them. Like children, we should be able to forgive and forget, copy, and trust. In this way, we become more humble people, and are able to grow closer to God.

Part 2: 120 Reasons Why You Must Be a Soul Winner?
Tuesday Jul 26, 2022
Tuesday Jul 26, 2022
Mark 8:36-38 (KJV) reads: "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
In today's message, Rev. Kodwo Orleans-Lindsay gives a lesson on how and why we need to win souls for the Lord. Jesus expects the church to tell the world about Him, therefore we should not be ashamed. We must overcome our fears about witnessing and have faith that God's work is already done. God is not looking for perfect people to win souls, but willing people that incorporate soul winning into their daily lifestyles.

“For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
Luke 19:10 (KJV)
In today's message, Reverend Lindsay continues his series on evangelism-with reasons why we should be soul winners. We learn in Luke 19:10 that Jesus’ main reason for coming into the world was to save the lost. As Christ is the head of church, we are to follow his lead. Just as our heads are useless without the body, Jesus cannot move forward without His church. Our job then is to also be soul winners. Rev. Lindsey speaks on being witnesses to people by warning them and also speaks on the importance of following up with every single soul we speak to so that they are established in their faith.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
2 Corinthians 5:17-18
In today's message, Reverend Lindsay continues the series on soul-winning and its importance. Christians today have forgotten what our true purpose is. We need to inspire joy in heaven by winning souls!
God didn't send us to make money or sit and listen to nice sermons; He sent us to win souls! It's time we get to work and fulfill the Great Commission.

Wednesday Jul 06, 2022
2 Corinthians 5: 17,20 (KJV) reads, “17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.”
In this message Rev Lindsay starts a new series about the important of evangelism and “Why you must be a soul winner”. The body has an expiration date, so we must value our spirits. We are new creatures in Christ and thus must follow his purpose and plan for our life. We must be soul winners because that is the great commission. If the church does not do this commission who will? We were created to carry out the good work of soul winning. Salvation is a free gift that we never have to earn so all are eligible for this beautiful gift.
Let’s be strong Christ Ambassadors today and live the joyful selfless life of being a soul winner!!

Principles of Prayer: It is important to enter your closet for Effective Prayer
Tuesday Jun 28, 2022
Tuesday Jun 28, 2022
In this message, Reverend Lindsay continues his teaching on the importance of prayer with "The Thought Process of Prayer." He discusses the importance of habitual prayer. Habits are easy to form, but difficult to break. If you make prayer time a habit, you won't be able to let it go! He also emphasizes the importance of having a private place to pray, your closet or any quiet place. Prayer is a private communion between you and God. Don't involve anyone else in your private prayer time.
In order to have a good and established relationship with the Lord, you must make prayer a part of your daily routine. It starts with one hour a day. The more you do, the easier it gets, and the more blessings will abound.

Prayer Must Continue in Troubled Times and in Times of Peace
Tuesday Jun 21, 2022
Tuesday Jun 21, 2022
In this message Rev. Lindsay continues teaching through the mindset of Daniel with the principles of prayer. Prayer is the source of power and protection. When we are continually in prayer we are surrounded by angels.
Prayer is needed for acquiring and sustaining our blessings. God is the source and the sustainer of our every need. If you are blessed it is all the more reason keep praying. Even when God promoted Daniel his mindset was to keep praying. Let us not be like Esau have the birthright but lose the blessing. When we prosper we must’t forget the our Abba Father the source, is our sustainer (Romans 8:15). Your greatness should be reflected in your prayerfulness or "prayerlibility”.
Let us not stop praying in any situation! May God bless us with a prayerful attitude no matter how great we become!

Principles of Prayer: Prayer is the source of our Power and Protection
Tuesday Jun 14, 2022

Daniel 6:10 (KJV) reads, "Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open towards Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days."
In today's message, Rev. Kodwo Orleans-Lindsay continues the lesson on the principles of prayer. Even though Daniel was having a time of crisis, he still made sure to pray three times a day and communicate with God. God loves prayer, so we must pray regularly as this is the way we connect to the Source. Prayer is the source of power and protection in our lives, and no one is ever too busy or too successful to pray.
