The Postures of Prayer
Tuesday Feb 07, 2023
Tuesday Feb 07, 2023
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (KJV); “ 16 Rejoice evermore. 17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
As we conclude the season of intensive prayer and fasting Reverend Lindsay preaches about “Prayer Attitudes”or prayer postures that will keep you going and make prayer effective. Many Christians make prayer a honeymoon and do it for a short time out of the year. But, this shouldn’t be the case. We must pray without ceasing. Let us have a lifestyle of prayer.
Prayer is a communication, a two-way affair not just about us speaking, but also being ready and willing to hear from God. It says in Isaiah 40:31”they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength…” we want to pray for what God will is for us. Prayer postures include both loud shouting but also quietly speaking to God where no man can even understand.
Learn to keep speaking to the Lord, wherever and whenever it doesn’t matter what people think, let us keep pouring out our soul before Him!

Reasons We Should be A Part of Prayer and Fasting
Tuesday Jan 24, 2023
Tuesday Jan 24, 2023
Matthew 17:21 (KJV) reads “Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.”
As we are a special time of prayer and fasting Reverend Lindsay preaches about the “Reasons We Should be A Part of Prayer and Fasting”. Prayer and fasting is a great act of faith. As it says in Hebrews 11:6 “without faith it is impossible to please God”, we need faith commune with God. Prayer makes you a woman or man of faith. Those who believe are the ones with spiritual power. Prayer with fasting shows that we can go to the next level and deny ourselves something for our faith. Prayer also binds demonic activity in your life.
Prayer is dynamic and it's working; there is nothing that is impossible for the Lord. Let us live a prayerful and fasted life.

Friday Dec 30, 2022

Luke 1:28 (KJV) says “And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.”
In this special Christmas message Reverend Lindsay preaches about how Mary the mother of Jesus was hailed and why. He leads us through the story of Jesus Christ's birth and shows the very important role Mary played. The definition of to hail someone is to recognize, honor, and respect them. The verse in Luke 1:28 says Mary was blessed among women because she did a great work for God even though she wasn’t a preacher, she birthed a great thing, she had a prophecy come to pass and she believed.
Where is your sacrifice? Where are your good works? God is looking for it!

I Shall Not Want: Conclusion
Monday Dec 19, 2022
Monday Dec 19, 2022
The Bible says, "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want" in Psalm 23:1 (KJV).
In this message, Reverend Lindsay concludes his series on "The Lord is My Shepherd, I Shall Not Want." God is faithful. He will give what we deserve. It's up to us to recognize what He's provided. If the Lord is our Shepherd, then we must be like sheep. We must allow Him to provide what we need, not what we think we need.
"The Lord is My Shepherd" is no cliché. It's the truth! So, let's become obedient, dutiful sheep. God is faithful and blesses those that do their part!

Psalms 23:1 (KJV) says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”
In this special service honoring the birth our father of this house Rev. Kodwo Orleans-Lindsay starts a powerful new series entitled “ I Shall Not Want”. When the Lord is our shepherd and he truly leads us and causes us to do things for his sake, then we will truly not want. This promise is a proclamation of lifestyle, a constant following and acting according to the will of God.
Our God is Jehovah Jireh which means the one who sees ahead and makes provision ahead of time. God created humanity on the sixth day after He had provided everything in the garden. God has already provided, don’t be afraid to use what God has given you. Let us look around us at the provision of God, stop grumbling and look at your blessing! THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD; I SHALL NOT WANT!

The Davidic Principles of Success: Part III
Wednesday Nov 09, 2022
Wednesday Nov 09, 2022
1 Chronicles 29:28 states: "And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honour: and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.”
In today's message, Rev. Kodwo Orleans-Lindsay continues the series on the Davidic Principles of Success. David was a king that avoided foolish battles, and adapted for progress. The enemy hates you; they will do anything to bring you down and sin against you, so we must learn to use God's wisdom and run away from certain things. Just as David did, we should always adapt to change and not be insecure of our progress. Some things are only for a season and we must not define ourselves by what we have to do.

“And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honour: and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.”
1 Chronicles 29:28 ( KJV)
In today's message, Reverend Lindsay continues his series on Davidic Principles of Success. As our anchor scripture says, David died in a good old age, full of days, riches, respect and dignity. We must learn to prosper by being comfortable with small beginnings and doing menial jobs. David was anointed as King but served as an armor bearer with joy. Just like David, we need to discern and stay away from people who have evil intentions towards us. However, we will flourish and succeed in life and ministry when we pour into, serve and fellowship with others
